May 10, 2019 – Germantown, WI – There’s a new independent restaurant opening in the next couple months in Germantown. It’s an old-school location with a unique twist and a recognizable owner.
Jodi Janisse-Kanzenbach is the genius behind a new eatery called The Precinct. It will be in the old Germantown Police Station on Church Street, just around the corner from Barley Pop Pub, N116 W16137 Main Street.

I am passionate about utilizing sustainable, local ingredients. When I am not cooking food, I am eating it - my favorite food to eat is Sushi! A perfect night is great fresh sushi with my wife.

I work in the kitchen but you can also find me helping at the bar and front of house. I love to cook and bake. I'm planning on going to culinary school to become a pastry chef.

I'm one of the youngest employees here. I cannot stand the snow, so when spring comes, I spend my time outdoors; from fishing o four-wheeling. I've lived in Germantown all my life and it's nice work so close to home!

I have been working in the Industry for 8 years and I am excited to be working along side the crew at Precinct. I like to disc gold, fish, skateboard & travel the US. Trying foods from different regions.

I hale from Indiana - although born and raised in Michigan. Wisconsin is slowly growing on me, it is nice to have lots of trees and hills.

"Live, Laugh, Love & Cheesecake" I am the dessert lady @ Cafe Soeurette, I love all desserts, but cheesecake is my favorite to make & eat! I'm a mother to one son, who is totally awesome, just like his mom 😉

I'm a server/bartender at the Barley Pop as well as a server at The Precinct. I like to spend my free time with my husband and my cats. Come visit me on both sides of the street!

When I'm not working in the kitchen I like to cook at home as much as I have time to, coming up with recipes of my own or inspirations with my own twist. Otherwise, I like to be outdoors hiking, camping or playing disc golf.

I'm a current college student, mother of two and also work in pharmaceutical research. The Precinct helps me to indulge in my love for meeting people and good food!
Courtney - Server
I am a student at Whitewater studying elementary education, special education and going for my Master's in psychology! I have been in the hospitality industry for 7 years and have a passion for changing peoples lives and making people smile. I believe I can do that simply by serving them food and sharing their dining experience.
Lexi - Server
I'm Lexi & I am on the West Bend West Women's Varsity Soccer Team. I also enjoy going on hikes & doing volunteer work. My goal for the future is to become a physical therapist.
Micah - Line Cook
A line cook and guy who helps out in a few other aspects of the restaurant, Micah is the one carrying on the Dykema legacy at of Cafe Soeurette by being (sort of) the last one of five family members to work here. He enjoys cooking, making Psych references with friends, and spending warm days at the beach.
